For the last 12 months, community members from South Renton have been working on a plan for a community garden. We’re very excited about this possibility and have put forth time and effort on meetings, research, and planning. Below are links to our proposal and a short informational sheet. Annual South Renton Picnic!
Please come to the 3rd Annual South Renton Neighborhood Picnic! There will be food, dancing, music, and fun.

Hot dogs and drinks will be provided, but please bring a dish to share.
We recommend bringing out some lawn chairs as we expect a crowd!

Thanks for Coming Out!
What a beautiful day on the Saturday before Easter. Thank you to all the kids and neighbors who participated in the South Renton Easter egg hunt this year! It was an unexpected turn-out and great to see so many people enjoying the activity and talking with one another. Thank you to all the volunteers who provided donations. Hello Friends and Neighbors,
Come join us and help make South Renton the place to be!
We will be meeting at Liberty Square Apartments 417 Burnett AVE South on TUESDAY APRIL 5TH @ 7PM – 830PM
As usual we will be meeting in the activities room on the first floor of the north building, just up the stairs off Williams and to the right through the double glass doors.
This Month, we will be hosting Angie Mathias from the city of Renton and she will discuss her City Center Plan draft and is looking to us for some feed back. You can access the City Center plans which includes the South Renton neighborhood that will be shared by Angie at http://rentonwa.gov/business/default.aspx?id=25229.
In addition to Angie and the city center plan, we will be discussing, time permitting:
